Recent research from Ned’s Job of the Week and Sword and the Script Media found that 78% of comms and PR professionals say the volume of their work has increased over the past few years. Additionally, half of respondents reported that the nature of their work has changed significantly.
Changes included a greater emphasis on social media and more focus on internal communications. The two biggest challenges identified were cutting through the noise and juggling too many priorities.
The survey was conducted in May and June, 2022 among 483 professionals working in communications, public relations and public affairs.
