Which Content Tactics Make People Unsubscribe From Brands?

Optimove surveyed 329 US citizens to find out which content tactics are most likely to make people unsubscribe from brand messaging.
Respondents say repeated promotions for the same product (54%) and generic, nonpersonalized content (20%) are the top two reasons for unsubscribing. 59% prefer receiving brand content through email.
Email (37%) and text messaging (25%) are the most annoying channels for receiving lots of marketing content. The report is based on data from the survey.
