The biggest barrier to AI adoption in marketing is a lack of education and training, according to recent research from Drift and the Marketing AI Institute.
The 2024 State of Marketing AI Report was based on a survey of 1,784 marketing and business professionals, with 67% citing a lack of education and training as a top barrier to adoption.
In addition, a lack of awareness/understanding and a lack of strategy were also cited as major barriers to adoption, with 56% and 43% of respondents mentioning them, respectively.
