Security and governance are top challenges for businesses integrating data from multiple sources, according to a recent report from Nexla and Ascend2.
The survey, conducted in April 2024 among 314 data integration professionals, revealed that security concerns (56%) and governance issues (44%) were the biggest obstacles in integrating data sources.
Data integration professionals also cited downtime, complexity of sources, and lack of automation as contributing factors to data backlogs, and measure success through improved accuracy, cost savings, and time saved.
