A survey by Sprout Social revealed how full-time social media marketers spend their time and wish they could spend more time on customer response and strategic planning.

500 social media marketers in the United Kingdom and the United States were surveyed by Sprout Social to find out how they spend their time and which tasks they wish they had more time for.

On average, social media marketers spend 5 hours per week on content creation, 3.8 hours on data analysis, and 3.6 hours on strategic planning. They also wish they had more time for responding to customers and strategic planning.
