The Biggest Challenges Salespeople Are Facing

According to recent research by Vidyard, salespeople are facing budget constraints, economic factors, and difficulty connecting with potential customers as their biggest challenges in the sales process. The survey was conducted between November 27 and December 9, 2022, among 720 sales professionals.

Only 9% of salespeople reported that their primary or exclusive work environment is in-office, while 42% mentioned difficulty connecting with potential customers as an issue. As for buying committees, only 7% of respondents typically deal with a single decision-maker.

Overall, the survey highlights the difficulties salespeople face in their work environment and the need for better strategies for engaging potential customers.
