Recent research from Sprout Social found that workers are most likely to share educational posts and updates about employees from their employers on social media.
The survey of 1,110 US social media users was segmented into two groups: "engaged" and "casual" users. Both groups said educational content and employee updates were among the types of content from their employer that they are most likely to share and find most engaging.
The research also showed that 76% of respondents found it important for employers to post about their employees on social media, and 86% said employers are seen as authentic when they post about their employees' achievements and stories.
