Martech Replacement Trends in 2024
Which types of marketing technology are replaced most often? Why do marketers decide to replace martech solutions? To find out, researchers surveyed 496 marketers from around the world.
Most marketers at small and midsize businesses believe that AI-powered marketing tools will reduce time spent on marketing tasks, keep headcount in check, and limit costs, according to research from Unbounce. Fifteen percent report that the tools have already had a positive impact on their business, and 89% of those who have adopted the tools say that they are key to their marketing success in the next year. Additionally, 82% say the tools are helping to accelerate revenue growth.
The report was based on data from a survey conducted in April and May 2022 among 401 people responsible for marketing decisions at businesses in Canada and the US with 2-99 employees. Ninety-seven percent of respondents said they believe AI-powered tools will reduce time spent on marketing tasks, 95% said they believe the tools will reduce the need to hire additional marketing headcount, and 92% said they believe AI tools will decrease costs.
Of those surveyed, 28% believe the tools will have a positive impact by the end of 2022 and 40% believe AI tools will have a positive impact in the next 2-3 years. Overall, AI-powered marketing tools are seen as a powerful tool to help marketers save time, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
