The median starting salary for a corporate chief marketing officer in the United States is expected to be $200,250 this year, according to recent research.
Recent research from MarTech and Chiefmartech has found that average salaries for digital marketing professionals in the United States have jumped by nearly a quarter over the past three years. The survey found that the average salary for SVP and C-suite digital marketers in 2022 is $251,846 and the average salary for managers is $110,805.
The researchers also discovered a significant gender gap in digital marketing salaries, with men earning 30% more than women, on average. Additionally, 34% of senior digital marketers reported being extremely satisfied with their job compared with 25% of digital marketing staff.
