According to Conductor, marketers from different roles have different SEO priorities in 2022, with their shared goal being to improve collaboration between SEO practitioners and others. Marketing leaders prioritize building effective collaboration, digital channel owners prioritize increasing the rate of SEO improvements, and digital marketing practitioners prioritize finding enough bandwidth to accomplish their goals.
Organizations with high levels of SEO maturity prioritize building effective collaboration, while those with low levels prioritize hiring dedicated resources. The research was based on a survey of 350 marketers who have some form of responsibility over their brand's website.
Overall, improving collaboration across the board is the shared goal of marketers in different roles, and organizations with different levels of SEO maturity have their own priorities in order to achieve this goal in 2022.
