SEO Expert Survey: Traffic, Budget, and Time Trends

Recent research from Search Engine Journal reveals that 41% of SEO professionals had clients with a slight increase in website traffic during the past 12 months, while 23% had a lot of increase. The most common monthly SEO budget range for clients is between $1,000-$5,000.

39% of SEO professionals say their clients' budgets have increased a little over the past 12 months, and 24% say they have stayed the same. Most of their time is spent on keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, and analytics.

The report was based on a survey of 1,241 SEO professionals who worked with clients through an agency or as a freelancer.
