Working From Bed: The State of Home Workspaces in 2021

According to recent research from CraftJack, nearly two-thirds of people who are working from home have worked from their bed. The report was based on a survey of 1,520 Americans who work remotely. Of those surveyed, 65% have worked from their bed, and 68% from their couch. Only 32% have a dedicated home office.

Remote workers have invested in improving their home workspace during the pandemic, with 91% having made an effort to do so. 57% have bought a chair, 51% bought a desk and 64% improved their background for video calls. 63% have also spent money to improve their look on video calls.

The report was based on a survey conducted in June 2021 among 1,520 Americans who work remotely. Remote working has become an increasingly popular option for many people recently, so understanding the trends of remote working is important.
