Four Ways to Use Interactive Content to Succeed at Virtual Tradeshows

The pandemic has greatly impacted the way we present and market products and services, especially in terms of industry events and tradeshows. To combat this, 70% of event holders have gone virtual, using webinars and livestreams to communicate their message. Unfortunately, the lack of an in-person touch can make it difficult for companies to explain the benefits of their products. To combat this, four approaches can be used to make a more engaging presentation. These include interactive product demos, multimedia presentations, gamification, and Q&A sessions.

Interactive product demos provide an animated format that allows viewers to clearly see a product's features and components and how they operate. Multimedia presentations can include polls, interactive infographics, and videos to keep viewers more involved. Gamification can be used as an alternative to in-person events and adds a sense of competition to presentations. Finally, Q&A sessions allow people to ask questions and have them answered in real time.

By using the previously mentioned approaches, companies can effectively communicate their product's benefits via a virtual platform and make their presentations more engaging. This can help to make up for the lack of a personal touch that is common in in-person events.
