Businesspeople are no exception - 40% of US citizens are spending more time on social media than before COVID-19. Influencer marketing is becoming more popular, as influencers are trusted more than advertising. Companies should ensure that influencers’ messages reflect their company values.

In order to make the most of influencer marketing during the pandemic, marketers should lean into their respective product categories, reflect and research on the influencers they are partnering with and be agile in their messaging. Influencers allow companies to connect with new and existing customers in a meaningful way, building trust and equity.

Now is the perfect time to take advantage of influencer marketing. Companies should ensure that the influencers they are partnering with are genuine, authentic, and understand the company’s values. This will pay dividends not only during the pandemic, but also into the future.
