As marketers plan virtual events, they must consider how to create an engaging experience for attendees. Sales and marketing teams have to build meaningful connections virtually and make the best of their time with attendees.

To make virtual networking more human, consider allowing for one-on-one networking and incorporating avenues of interaction, like live polling and Q&A. Urge teams to turn on their video and adjust their approach for a virtual setting. Use data to identify attendees’ interests and pain points to create a tailored experience.

Account-based marketing events will create an intimate space to share targeted content and make meaningful connections. Businesses can track attendees’ engagement and use personalized communications to keep them engaged. Ultimately, it’s the people at events that will leave a lasting impression and lead to real business results.
